I started with Choice Ltd as an Accounts Payable Assistant before quickly rising to Accounts Payable Controller. Working in the finance department my main duty is ensuring the smooth running of the purchase ledger. My tasks include supplier payments, raising invoices and credit notes, posting bank payments, supplier account reconciliations and pursuing.

My main duty was preparing year end accounts for Limited Companies as well as personal tax returns for their directors. In addition I completed the monthly payroll for approximately 30 companies of varying sizes. I also completed bookkeeping tasks both in the office and offsite at client’s offices. My main role at PPK was checking expense claims and uploading them to the Sage 50 system. I also ran payroll on IRIS. I was responsible for running the end of year P11Ds, P35s and P60s. In addition to this, I performed general administrative duties and some accounts preparation.

ShopTo.net is an online video games retailer. While working there, I handled ‘goods in’. This involved checking current stock levels and then booking stock in.
