• Provide scientific leadership and technical input on the development of business strategy, scientific messaging and substantiation, and nutrition positions and policies.• Provide science-based guidance regarding the safety and efficacy of new ingredients.• Monitor and evaluate the regulatory landscape, nutrition science literature, and nutrition drivers relevant to business needs and the R&D pipeline.• Identify, lead and/or contribute to nutrition research by collaborating with internal and external investigators.• Monitor and evaluate the regulatory landscape, nutrition science literature, and technology drivers relevant to business needs and the R&D pipeline.• Determine science-based nutrition profiles for new and improved products• Contribute to the development of integrated and science-based communications and product messaging• Support nutrition education and training for internal and external audiences• Provide global nutrition and regulatory science guidance to industry associations (CONMEXICO, CANILEC, COMECARNE) through proactive participation in these associations and policy-making bodies as to facilitate the promulgation of appropriate nutrition policy and influence the development of regulatory standards.
