I run a machine that forms steel tubes into airbag cylinders and that drills a fill-port. I am responsible for making sure that the machine runs smoothly as well as making sure that the parts being made are to specifications.I use multiple gauges to measure the depth of the fill-port as well as the spot-face and the length of the part.

I was responsible for shaking out the molds from the previous day’s pour byguiding them to a large agitator using a ceiling crane. I then had to take the castparts out of the agitator and take them to a grinder for further processing. I wasalso responsible for moving new molds from a conveyor to a suitable place on thefloor where I would then prepare them.

I was responsible for working in a small team to pour proper product into anagitator to be portioned and packaged during a run. I had to follow strictprocedures to keep our work area clean. I had to read the computer system toknow what the next run was going to be and have the proper product ready to go.I had to use an electric fork­ lift to move barrels.
