• Led a team of HR and payroll professionals responsible for providing human resource and payroll to 550 + employees in 3 separate companies in 25 plus states utilizing ADP Workforce Now and Paycom systems. Analyzed company statistics and prepared reports on adjustment in salaries, direct deposits, allotments, garnishments, tax withholdings, 401K plan and other various HR/payroll related items to company officers. Implemented new payroll policies, procedures, and workflow changes with internal controls to ensure compliance with both state and federal requirements as well as general accounting practices. Initiated research and instituted protocols for additional tax credits and incentives that were not previously being utilized. Responsible for recruitment and on boarding of employees that included new employee training and individual development plans in collaboration with management. Updated the employee manual revising outdated policies to ensure compliance and adding new policies to improve productivity and increase production. Responsible for working within my department in conjunction with other departments to ensure the hiring and termination practices were within HR standards. Developed and implemented performance reviews that increased productivity, employee morale and reduced a 60% volunteer turnover rate to 30%.
