• Spearheaded successful program to improve System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) adherence across Merck’s global application platform. After several consecutive years where, internal audits identified SDLC adherence as an area that required improvement was able to develop and administered SDLC monitoring program that achieved and sustained 100% SDLC adherence.• Ensured SDLC adherence during a major spinoff effort which included a significant number of products and IT Solutions being transitioned to a new standalone company.• An outcome of a major corporate acquisition resulted in multiple SDLC standards being utilized across Merck. Senior IT Management identified this scenario as a corporate risk and requested that a single Merck SDLC be developed and utilized to minimize the risk of potential regulatory audit findings.• Managed a team focused on Project Management and developing / maintaining IT Risk Management & Security tool set.
