I've started my work in administration field in February 2008, within the Technical Department form Cluj-Napoca City Hall, being initially in charge with the maintenance and modernization of the 18.000 lamps public lighting system of the city. Starting with November 2015 I lead the Energy Efficiency and Public Lighting Bureau from Cluj-Napoca City Hall. Several activities: We have "eradicated" the mercury lamps in 2013 and we have conducted several "waves" of lamp modernization bringing Cluj-Napoca to a percent of 16% of LED lamps (European average is 9%), with an aim for 25% for 2022 and total modernization before 2032. We have created a position of energy responsible within each public municipal building and conducted a preliminary energetic analysis in 220 buildings on the basis of which we have prioritized the necessary investments. Since 2017 we organize the acquisition of electric energy for all Municipal consumers, including buildings and services, form the Romanian Commodities Exchange platform;We have finalized the first 7 municipal photovoltaic power plants using Norway and EEA Grants aiming to transform Cluj-Napoca into one of the very few municipalities with prosumer statute. This year I have coordinated the elaboration of the 200 million euro local Strategy for Districting Heating System, setting an ambitious 55% percent of CO2 decrease and 32% renewable sources in production before 2030. In 2012 I graduated the Community Development and Urban Planning master program, jointly taught and awarded by Babes Bolyai University (FSPAC) and University of Michigan. During my university period I have published three articles in the Transylvanian Review for Public Administration. I have also graduated of the qualification program "Lighting Specialist" organized by the Romanian National Lighting Committee and "Energy analysis techniques and practices for the implementation of buildings with almost zero energy consumption (nZEB)" post-university course organized by Cluj-Napoca Technical University.
