I serve with the International Leadership Institute (ILI). Born out of a desire to accelerate the spread of the Gospel, ILI's founders identified leadership as one of the primary obstacles to fulfilling the great commission. After several years of global research, an international team of Christian leaders identified the Eight Core Values of the most effective Christian leaders. Today, ILI's vision is to change history by accelerating the spread of the Gospel through leaders of leaders empowered by the Holy Spirit. To that end, ILI trains and mobilizes leaders of leaders to reach their nations with the Gospel of Jesus Christ. With an intentional focus on indigenous leadership, ILI equips and mobilizes local, Christian leaders as they take responsibility for developing themselves and others resulting in the spread of the Gospel. Over the past 25 years, ILI has trained and equipped more than 390,000 Christian leaders from more than 160 nations with the Eight Core Values. Independent research of global ILI alumni found an improvement in all Eight Core Values and all seven key outcomes: the lost are reached for Christ, new believers are discipled, disciples become effective workers, the needs of the least are met, new churches are planted, the spread of the Gospel is accelerated, and lives are transformed by the power of Christ. I serve as the Interim President at ILI. I have led strategic initiatives including the creation of on-demand leadership training across three global languages. Currently, I am working to mobilize ILI training for business leaders in partnership with the Fellowship of Companies for Christ International. Additionally, I serve as ILI’s champion for Africa East and South. In this role, I serve as the liaison between the international office and indigenous ILI teams across the world. Since I joined the ILI team in 2020, God has allowed us to train more than 90,000 leaders across more than 100 nations including 6 of the top 10 most persecuted nations (according to the WWL).
