As someone who possesses more than 15 years of professional experience and an additional 5 years in an academic setting within Chemical and Process Engineering, I understand the complexities associated with upholding stringent GMP standards to manufacture, test and validate products within quality control parameters. I possess strong analytical abilities and apply excellent attention to detail to identify trends, formulate scalable solutions and update records to maintain data accuracy. As an entrepreneur, I apply strategic foresight to locate research opportunities, integrate new technologies and introduce a continuous improvement to streamline production. My exposure to lab-based environments throughout my studies, as well as my exploratory research, has granted me the opportunity to critically assess findings and verify the methods and equipment used to conduct the tests. It also strengthened my ability to think outside of the box when troubleshooting or problem-solving which led to innovative recommendations that optimised productivity. More recently, I have completed courses in Organic Chemistry, HPLC Techniques and Gas Chromatography to expand my knowledge.Throughout my career, I have always searched for new ways of working to improve existing workflows or improve supply chain activities. At Medtronic and at Dalgan Wood Industries, I ensured batches were released on time and that GMP standards were upheld at each stage of the manufacturing process. By connecting with cross-functional teams, I build cohesion by clarifying objectives and instilling best practices. I am a results-focused individual who thrives in environments that provide me with the autonomy to propose ideas and empower me to undertake additional responsibility to learn new skills.
