At 10 years old, Daniel Dugan began his personal, meditative style of art. He created complex labyrinths: “one continuous line” that never intersects and is uniformly spaced. It was a problem-solving exercise to test his patience and precision. Like labyrinths from centuries ago, the function is a spiritual one: to quiet the mind and wander forward through the path. This meditative process has now made him an international artist with attention from major collectors and "a darling of the press" (Numero Netherlands).
