Civil Engineer Project Manager
CurrentThis current role includes but isn’t limited to: Project Management, Manager of Facility Certification Configuration Document. Project Management Support: Work closely with project managers to deliver required materials. Developed new facility submittal construction tracker. Provide assistance with planning, developing requirements, cost estimates, and performing engineering management work for significant multi-phase projects that normally cross engineering disciplines and require professional technical knowledge of general engineering principles. Contract Analysis: Assist in contract scope requirements or adjustments concerning design. Projects are often associated with a wide variety of architectural and engineering disciplines to include architectural, structural, civil, mechanical, electrical, and environmental work. Provide engineering support to the AFGSC/A4C staff on major facilities and infrastructure projects across the AFGSC installations. Manage projects associated with the AFGSC mission sets require integration of security, munition, and nuclear certification requirements which are a blend of traditional and non-traditional engineering standards. Provide planning and programming support for new and revised requirements at the installations. Participate on an engineering team and assist in the planning, survey, scope development, cost estimating, and phased scheduling of projects and requirements. Evaluate and advise the Government on installation requests for new construction, renovation, and improvements of facilities and infrastructure. Provide technical advisory support on emerging technologies to ensure programmed development will not prematurely become obsolete. Provide MAJCOM engineering management of the project process. Coordinate the draft preparation and reviews of architect and engineer (A&E) statements of work (SOW).
