Daniel is a Washington Fellow of President Obama’s Young African Leaders Initiative (YALI) through Rutgers State University’s Centre for Global Studies.He currently serves as the Chief Executive Officer at NICO Asset Managers Limited. He is a former Managing Director for Continental Asset Management Limited. He is also the former Chief Executive Officer of the Society of Accountants in Malawi (SOCAM) -now ICAM. Daniel has also served on a number of national economic development policy taskforces in Malawi. Daniel is a corporate governance trainer under the World Bank’s Global Corporate Governance Forum trainer of trainers program. Daniel is passionate about motivational speaking. He is a competent professional speaker with Toastmasters International (TI) and he is also a graduate of the Success Motivation International (SMI), an American success motivation institute whose goal is to motivate people towards achieving their full potential. Daniel has spoken at a number of conferences both locally and internationally and has delivered numerous trainings to corporate clients in the area of innovation and personal development. Daniel is a fellow of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA), Daniel also holds an MBA from University of Derby (UK) and a Bachelor of Accountancy degree from the University of Malawi.
