Dataminr is an event detection system that pinpoints abnormal activity across Twitter's live streaming dataset and produces real time alerts for news, public sector and finance clients. As the senior interactive developer, I built custom 3d panorama engines and designed the web-app framework, in flash and papervision3d, for their Virtual Venue product. At Catapult Intl., I Designed and developed multiple Web 2.0 applications for international transportation and trade. The applications were built with a Flex UI, JAVA / BlazeDS as middleware and an Oracle database. My responsibilities included full design, construction and implementation these sites. The software is used for pricing and scheduling of international trade contracts for shipping companies. Working with new and existing customers, I collaborated with a team on CatapultQMS to tailor the software to meet the demands of the industry. Ocean Transit Times is an application designed and constructed independently by myself. It queries the Catapult’s database to aggregate transit times used by their customers.

Designed and developed multiple websites for small businesses. Utilized different design techniques to address the needs of the client while expanding my knowledge of various technologies. A wide array of web technologies were used, primarily: Flash CS3/CS4, Papervision3D, HTML, CSS and jQuery. Some project required working with outside graphic designers and programmers. Javascript, PHP, MySQL and Ruby were all technologies used/learned depending on the project requirements.
