Analyze data produced by MineStar and develop ways to improve the use of equipment with in production, and personnel. When needed research and extract the data, make use of this data to develop ways of improvement in all aspects of mining including training and safety.Responsible for overall CAT MineStar system; including monitoring, developing, recommending and implementing them to deliver fleet, terrain, & Health optimizations.Ensure MineStar system is functioning optimally, including the running MineStar fleets and terrain fleets.Provide support, expertise and guidance to the MineStar Coordinators & Technician, Engineering, Maintenance, production teams, and future additions to MineStar Development.Manage and implement changes to road, waypoints, road grades, dump and load locations, materials management, surfaces, travel times.Work with CAT application specialist to maximize the use of the system.Promote MineStar, its capabilities, successes, and training to needed mine personnel.I hold the expectations to provide first level incident management of critical issues, onsite and remotely working with Production, engineering and maintenance, investigating real time issues with the CAT MineStar Fleet &Terrain Office Systems. I would assist in the collation of the incident information and feed the results back to the needed departments. Where possible you will also aim to resolve the issues without CAT assistance. Working primarily on key deployment, as the MineStar system is currently in approaching an upgrade stage, my primary responsibilities will be the provision of high level assistance with the deployment of the system, establishing relationships with maintenance, production, and MineStar team and ensuring all processes are in place and adhered to. Moving forward, this role will develop as the issues transition into utilization challenges as our MineStar Department gains experience and product improvements are made.
