Distribution Center Manager
CurrentOversee all Distribution Center operations and assist sales personnel according to company policies and procedures.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment. Provide information on unsafe work practices and make changes when necessary.Promote employee development through preparing and delivering monthly safety/accident prevention training, sales training, inventory control, and other related trainings.Supervise and coordinate the unloading of inbound shipments, as well as the staging of outbound shipments.Supervise the transportation fleet, ensuring all DOT requirements are met and ensure all paperwork is accurate.Manage and improve client relations through on-site visits, resolving client service issues and improving company image. Oversee the receiving, stocking, and picking of products.Coordinate employee schedules according to policy.Hire and train new employees in all aspects of the operations.
