• Create 2D and 3D models, details, assemblies, and drawings for projects and proposals• Create, develop, design, and document new and existing projects from concept to engineering to production• Data management and control of release packages and design documents• Review past designs for potential future projects• Project Team Leader and point of contact for customer relations• Monitor and maintain ongoing projects requirements, specifications, and change order logs• Estimates, preparation of proposals, and sales when assigned• Review customer contract, drawings and specifications, and proposal at start of job• Organize and coordinate customer training• Develop detailed schedules with engineers, procurement, and subcontractors to ensure coordination and timely project completion

*Design and develop layouts for complex mechanical systems*Direct and lead the work of others*Communicate effectively with customers, sales, engineering, and management*Familiar with a variety of the field's concepts, practice, and procedures*Relies on experience and judgement to plan and accomplish goals*Assist engineers and designers in training, use, and installation of design software*Provide technical assistance to system users*Investigate and resolve computer software and hardware issues

*Research existing designs for application in new design projects*Create assembly and details drawing*Create bills of materials*Participate in design reviews*Manage incoming project material and their delivery schedule to insure on-time delivery*Generate new part numbers in SAP*Follow design and file management standards
