My current research interests are in methods development for problems involving the comparisons of similar objects observed under different settings, forecasting when shocks have occurred, variance reduction, and baseball analytics.My teaching portfolio includes introductory statistical programming, advanced regression modeling, and baseball analytics. My classes emphasize data science workflow and reproducibility.I mentor several graduate and undergraduate students. This position was in Forrest W Crawford's lab. The main focus of this position was on methodological development in infectious disease epidemiology.

Hosted a lab section to help students with computer assignments and written assignments.

I have taught two introduction to statistics classes so far while studying at the University of Minnesota. I gave the lectures, wrote the homework assignments, quizzes, and exams, and gave the students their final grades. Teaching has been an enjoyable experience and I have learned how to communicate abstract statistical concepts to a learning audience.
