After many enjoyable year with JCB I made the difficult decision to move to Triumph Motorcycle. Following my passion for 2 wheels the Triumph team supercharged my development and tested my ability to progress a fast moving project. Managing the engine and emission calibration for a given project was extremely rewarding. Leasing with the wider design team and supporting design changes with calibration reviews was a particular highlight. Working on Euro5 compliance was a true challenge that was achieved and still produced best in class drivability. I am incredible proud of the work I undertook at Triumph.

After spending 18 months on a JCB young talent graduate powertrain scheme, I settled into a roll in diesel calibration, working within the machine intergration team. This suits my background and experience in motorcycle racing, being on machines and right at the sharp end, where you have to be quick to react and have a real sense of urgency to be successful. Calibration for me is a fantastic and enjoyable role, combining my knowledge and foundation in mechanic engineering with the modern cutting edge world of electronics.

I have worked along side team director and founder Mark Webster from the beginning, and take great pride in the standard of race machine myself and the team produce. Having achieved podiums every year and helping countless riders progress through the ranks I feel it is a credit to all involved. I really do live and breath bikes, from a young age this has never changed. MWR has allowed me to prove myself as both a competent mechanic and engineer. From motorcycle dynamics to powertrain, rider debriefs to mechanics I'm extremely passionate about the sport!
