• Full-stack development on an international payments product, live in a number of countries.• Worked within the product enhancement team; looking at refactoring services into smaller services to achieve a more maintainable and configurable product distributable across focused teams, leading to quicker release cadence of supporting services and lower risk deployments.• Designed an API pattern and utility library to standardise retrieval of reporting data from Spring REST APIs; improving performance by mapping pagination, filtering and sorting API query parameters to dynamic JOOQ database queries.• Led the development of customer facing react based user interfaced on a number of initiatives including; improving reporting performance through consumption of said APIs, achieving internationalisation for global customers, building the foundations for a multi-role operations dashboard.• Built dedicated services for authentication and authorisation integrated with Keycloak and regionalisation configuration services allowing; translations, currencies and timezones.• Spent a period of time in the USA with our client, giving technical augmentation and providing technical support in relation to the evolving product.

Built rich operational, reporting and dashboard functionality requiring strict access controls for various roles accessing the system.• Designed and developed end-to-end; provisioning, operational and reporting functionality across multiple components, including; React & Redux based user interface, Spring back-end/API, Oracle & DB2 databases and messaging queue interactions.• Involved in the enablement of pre-funded and deferred-net funding and settlement capabilities.

• Worked on a number of projects using Java within an Agile-Scrum team, being involved in the development of payments gateway and switching products. • Developed a broad understanding of payments processing workflows and various message types (ISO8583, ISO2022 and MT103), contributing to the development of an ISO2022 to canonical transformation component.• Used a range of development tools such as Subversion, Sonar, Jira, Sonatype CLM and experienced installing and configuring Jenkins for continuous integration.
