I represent construction industry contractors, subcontractors, owners, design professionals, and sureties in all aspects of construction from planning, to contracting, to dispute resolution. I have represented clients in bid protests before State and Federal Courts and the Government Accountability Office. I have represented clients in prosecuting and defending claims for design defects, additional work, changes, delays, inefficiencies, and cumulative impact before State and Federal Courts, as well as the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA) and Civilian Board of Contract Appeals (CBCA). I have represented clients involving federal government investigations involving alleged false or fraudulent claims.In addition to representing construction industry clients, I have represented telecon, NISH, defense contractors, government suppliers, and service providers, particularly with respect to government contracting and compliance issues.

Represented contractors, subcontractors, and design professionals in litigation before the Ohio Court of Claims, Frankllin County Court of Appeals, Ohio Supreme Court, Southern District of Ohio Federal District Court, and American Arbitration Association. Prevailed in case establishing contractor’s right to recover unabsorbed home office overhead against public owners, based on Eichleay formula. Complete General Constr. Co. v. Ohio Dep’t of Transp., 94 Ohio St. 3d 54, 760 N.E. 2d 364 (2002). Successfully defended design firm from alleged defective design involving water treatment plant. Successfully recovered balance due subcontractor on dispute with general contractor involving Terazzo flooring.

Trial Attorney with the Office of Chief Trial Attorney, Air Force Procurement. Responsible for defending the Air Force against claims brought before the Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals.Chief of Civil Law and Legal Assistance, and Prosecutor at Scott AFB, IL. Responsible for Managing Administrative Discharge Program, Civil Law Program, and Legal Assistance Program handling over 2,000 clients per year. Managed team of attorneys and paralegals responsible for preparing personal legal documents including wills, powers of attorney, and residential leases.
