Responsible for product management and development groups and supporting CEO in operational and strategic management of Actant group

Head of the product and development groups at Actant with responsibility for growing current business and expanding into new business globally in electronic derivatives trading, specifically market making and algorithmic trading.

As one of actant's two product owners I was responsible for requirements, stakeholder management and ROI for all actant's tactical development and global software releases, working with 3 teams, 20+ developers. Successful delivery of the 3 man-years long OCC Option Symbology Initiative and the Euronext UTP implementation for Cash and Derivatives are project highlights.

As an extended member of actant's Product Organization Executive Team I lead the transformation from waterfall to Agile processes at actant's two development offices in London and Zug, Switzerland with the goal to improve productivity, improve product quality and introducing a clear and effective way to consolidate the priorities of all stakeholders in the organization. The re-organization included staff changes, job re-assignment and training everyone in their new roles as well as establishing new engineering practices such as continuous integration and TDD.
