I currently work within the wider data team at Aviva Insurance which includes; Governace, Privacy, and Management. Focusing on the oversight of individuals personal data and eventually data quality, metadata, and risk assessments following the introduction of GDPR. I work with numerous IT and Change projects throughout the business in the UKI space (which incorporates Life, Health & General Insurance) with my key responsibilities focused on making sure our customers most valuable asset is protected and ensuring the business keeps to good data practices. In previous roles I have worked as an overseas claims handler and trainer for new entrants, and also worked with our App developers to create an overseas drive App titled 'EU Drive' that aimed to assist our customers before they travelled in the Eurozone and in the event of an accident. This App was aimed and removing the fear of uncertainty for our customers.I have also worked as an events coordinator in the civil service, primarily working with MP's and local Councillors to arrange photo/media opportunities with businesses, public services and the general public. In my spare time I love every opportunity to travel and experience different cultures. Particular favourite destinations have been; Singapore, Hong Kong, Thailand, U.S.A and Mexico. I am looking to travel the east coast of Australia and New Zealand next. I also am a film lover so frequently visit the cinema (or Netflix), and finally I love socialising with friends and family.
