Attended cultural training with the NGO for preparation of our volunteering tour in India. This training consisted of communication skills, rapport building, community engagement etc.The work in country was raising awareness of preventable diseases in sexual health, water and vector(airborne) diseases. Alongside this we held the Dance4Life in many schools in the region to raise awareness.We also held talks on the issues surrounding child marriage and shared stories of survivors. We researched employment opportunities and held a jobs fair, alongside with local colleges and schools to let young people know what and where their education could take them.
