After 25+ years of working in finance and service related leadership roles in a variety of different organisations, industries and cultures I have the gained invaluable experience in developing and implementing structured support teams to enable and promote growth. I have been part of many success stories and have seen some not so successful stories, I can draw on the experience of both sides to help a business (the do’s and don’ts) grow to the next level. My approach to consulting work is grounded in my core values of integrity, trust and respect.In the last 6+ years with Jetts I have been CFO during an incredible growth phased seldom realised by companies. In that time, I’ve worked with some exceptional people and developed a business finance function supporting this growth from a bookkeeper to a professional business team.My background comes squarely from a finance point of view but with the emergence of the new breed of finance professional as a business partner and advisor I have taken on these challenges with enthusiasm. This has provided me with opportunities in customer service, logistics, HR, IT and legal leadership roles that readily translates into all businesses.My greatest value is my passion and ability to work across differing functions in the business. I can view an issue across multiple operational areas to provide direction, ask the right questions, minimise risk and maximise growth opportunities.Some of the biggest challenges for small to medium enterprises (SMEs) are the transition phases and ensuring optimal support and operational structures are in place – this is where I add value to help businesses succeed.
