The past two years at Orangetheory Fitness has allowed me to grow and adapt my professional skills to a highly complex and rapidly changing security landscape. The unique experiences found in the fitness/wellness industry necessitated a unique approach to threats and vulnerabilities. A majority of my time was spent designing and implementing foundational cybersecurity concepts as well as helping curb unsafe business practices to conform to more secure standards. My team and I were able to implement many new technologies and secure business processes that were brand new to Orangetheory's security landscape resulting in a significant decrease in the attack surface for the organization.My three years at SBA has allowed me to hone my cybersecurity skills in real world scenarios responding to incidents, evaluating risk and gaining hands on experience with industry standard tools. Our dedicated cyber security team has been responsible for increasing our security posture through various assessments, mitigations and proactively standing up security measures. My experiences at SBA have allowed me to learn so much about working with a corporation as well as coordinating with many technology experts to achieve success.The time spent at The Florida Panthers has allowed me to explore many different avenues of technology and improve skills needed to work with many individuals within a large organization. Much of my time was spent configuring and implementing new technologies and training different departments to use these new features to the best of their ability.My college has allowed me to be exposed to in depth knowledge of many aspects of technology. It is there that i found a passion for Information security and obtained multiple Comptia certifications in related subjects.
