In 2001 I joined the Cal U community as a faculty member in Technology Education. Seven years later I accepted a position as Associate Dean & Director of Student Teaching. I enjoyed that position until 2012 when President Jones asked me to become the Associate Vice President of Academic Success. For eight years I enjoyed working with an incredible staff and helping students persist and graduate from Cal U. In summer 2020, I became the Interim Provost and again have a great team that works collaboratively to solve some incredible challenges. I have been the Principle Investigator for Invention, Innovation, & Inquiry, an NSF funded grant. In addition, I coauthored a Strengthening Institutions funded by the Department of Education.
