As SQM SP the responsibilities were the following:• Managing of Quality Notifications and quality improvement actions after SOP (using 8D problem solving)• Manage PPAP documentation of serial components in case of changes• Initiate, lead and drive supplier improvement programs after SOP of raw materials• Organize sorting in case of non-conformities and managing the shipping back process of the found NG parts to the foundry of the supplier• Perform Supplier Process Audit• Coordinate collection of the supplier related quality costs (QRC)• Change management of serial components (PCN/PTN, ECR)• Follow-up Safe LaunchAs SQM CI the tasks were the following:• Take part in sourcing of new suppliers for Continental• Manage new component introduction for new projects• Drive SCR (Supplier Component Review) with potential suppliers• Conducting technical related negotiations with suppliers• Lead supplier APQP, achieve PPAP package and sign PSW• Perform capacity measures at suppliers (Run@Rate)• Define Safe Launch Concept• Contact person for quality problems for new supplied products until SOP, then hand the parts over to SQM Engineer SP• Plan, initiate and control preventive orientated, advanced quality management measures in the Reviews, Run@Rate, Safe Launch Concept, Quality Control Plan to ensure that the products of Continental meet the defined quality requirements• Perform Supplier Process Audits
