Overview: Managed a department of 56 exempt, non-exempt, and contract employees. Maintained overall responsibility for the accurate and timely processing of all US, Canadian, and Puerto Rican payables, travel and expense reimbursements, and related payables support activities. Other responsibilities include monthly account analysis review, trend reviews, budget preparation, AP metric reporting and review, talent development/management, and general AP accounting support. Scope: $5B+ in payables from over 90 plants, distribution centers, corporate locations, and 900+ company owned stores.Highlighted Experiences:- Co-led the successful integration of 2 acquired companies’ payables functions into PPG shared services. The integrations resulted in $1.2MM+ in SBU cost savings. - Supported the transition of 2 business unit’s AP functions into PPG shared services- Served as a subject matter expert for 2 ERP system implementations (Oracle and SAP)- Designed, supported, and or coordinated a number of cross functional projects focused on areas such as working capital improvement, lean management, and front end imaging/OCR for invoice processing
