Graduate of Colegio Anglo Colombiano at Bogotá, Colombia. An active member of Model United Nations, was awarded 15+ recognitions throughout his trajectory in this program, including from Harvard National MUN and the International School of Panama. Through a long trajectory of teamwork and leadership skills, was elected by his peers as Prefect, later as Representative to the Student Council, ran for student Vice Governor, and was elected Personero (School President), authoring modifications to the PEI (Educational Institutional Project) and the School Democracy Statute, promoted the creation of a Student Commerce Society, among other projects. During school vacations, interned for Senator María del Rosario Guerra, aiding with legislative research, planning and analysis. Authored a bill proposition regarding productive prisons in Colombia. Studies Law at Pontifica Universidad Javeriana, and within 6 months of studying law, got his first job as Corporate Paralegal at Advocat, a law firm specialized on the energy sector and corporate law. Main interests are Private, Commercial, Procedural and Criminal Law.Actively involved in National Politics within the United States of America and Colombia, including policy research and analysis, legislative volunteering and community involvement. Has worked both with elected officials and citizen groups in the State of Florida and Colombia, including NGOs, PACs and members of Congress of both countries.
