- Project management, coordinating emergency maintenance, security upgrades, and new work for large commercial organisations nationally such as 7-Eleven, Woolworths, Dick Smith, BWS, Dan Murphy’s, Caltex, Liquorland, Coles, Target, Vintage Cellars, 1st Choice Liquor, BI-LO, Aldi and Redcape Property Hotels- Organising the completion of jobs based on priority, customer expectations, and contractual requirements- Providing effective leadership to tradesmen, apprentices, and contractors. - Estimating from the initial stages of the tendering request, through to review of plans / development applications, take offs, calculating bill of quantities, ensuring projects are meeting the specifications and BCA certification standards- Providing 24 hour service provision and estimating approximately 300-400 projects annually- Lodging and reviewing tenders in order to ensure that pricing, resources, and materials are accurate and that customer satisfaction is maintained. This involved utilising strategies and tools to ensure tenders are competitive in the market, e.g. calculating profit versus loss- Processing work orders and allocating contractors- Issuing installation and warranty certificates upon completion of the project- Reading and developing plans and sketches to ensure work is carried out accurately- Assisting in the installation of large projects and performing ad hoc emergency glazier work
