I’ve always had a natural affinity for sound. As a child, my parents noticed that I was keenly aware of my sonic environment, and that has remained true into my young adult life. That natural curiosity combined with my innate interest in mathematics led me to music technology, and now I seek to help create these sonic environments with the help of computers, audio gear, and software. Whether it’s composing, sound designing, writing custom audio software, or integrating sound into any sort of media, I have a passion for it. During the last two years, I’ve had the opportunity to work on some really interesting projects. They include:--The Magnebacus, a new electronic instrument which took first prize in the 2021 Moog Hackathon (sound designer)--Shape Song, an original application designed to allow geographically separated individuals to make music together in real time. (Master’s project)--Original music for a video game written in Ableton Live and integrated into Unity with Audiokinetic’s Wwise.--A digital synthesizer written in C++ with JUCEMusic and sound design to me are more than just a hobby; they are truly at the core of who I am.
