I have been fortunate to work in some wonderful roles over the years with fantastic people. Mostly my background is in Business Development although I have directed a lot of my efforts in such roles towards projects which have supported education as a route towards opportunity and out of poverty and also the promotion of volunteering and the third sector as forces for good in our society.I believe strongly in equal opportunities for all - every person is of absolute equal value and should be encouraged and deserves to be appreciated for being their authentic self. Marginalisation is unacceptable to me and I am proud to have delivered projects that have sought to support those facing barriers to success caused by the actions of society or others.I am entrepreneurial and have had the good fortune to be somewhat lucky over the years. I remember the people I came into contact with and the impact they had on me, the enduring friendships and the motivation and intellectual stimulation I got from these relationships far more than any of my own successes.I realise I have the ability to make a strong impression - I am a confident leader and I want to put this ability to good use, supporting and encouraging others and helping organisations, that are striving to make this world a better place, to succeed.I am energised by the challenges that lie ahead and look forward to making many more friends on the road that is still to be travelled. I look forward to working in partnership with future colleagues and stakeholders to drive positive change and support others to achieve their goals.
