Based at the Nissan production plant in Washington working solely in an industrial environment. Fully conversant of strict health and safety and 'RAMS' policies.

Was acting as an electrical supervisor and focal point on a bespoke new build project. Duties included supervision of two electricians, liaising with and updating the site manager and liaising with clients to identify snagging lists. Other duties include relevant testing, inspection and remedial works in domestic, commercial and industrial properties. Also covered the North East sector responding to call outs and reactive maintenance for multiple letting agencies.

Completed intensive basic training courses which gave me vital experience of leadership and self discipline. After all relevant courses were completed I started trade training acquiring class 2 vehicle mechanic status.All of the skills and accolades I completed in my military career can be used in civilian employment.

I have covered domestic, commercial and industrial working environments with J&D Shepherd. Some of this work covered the following;• Installing, maintaining and repairing electrical wiring, equipment and fixtures in accordance with relevant legislations.• Carrying out diagnostic checks on failed/faulty equipment and installations, locating the breakdown and effecting repairs.• Inspections of electrical systems, equipment and components to identify hazards and defects ensuring repairs are completed in compliance with codes. I also completed a full electrical apprenticeship with J&D Shepherd obtaining an NVQ Level 3 in installing electrotechnical systems and equipment.

During completing my Level 1 and 2 in performing engineering operations, I completed several assessments in various different fields of engineering. This entailed safely operating and maintaining milling machines, turning machines, welding machines and CNC machines. Basic aspects of electrical engineering were also covered on a month college release apprenticeship.
