Won the Emerging Leaders Program Scholarship because I demonstrated superior public speaking, Collaborated with three other colleagues to organize and execute a community service event that would help raise awareness on the importance of a college education. This was the first time Edu-Futuro hosted a college event that gave both high school students and parents a student`s perspective of college life. As communications and outreach director I contacted over forty students of which fifteen students and their families attended.
