AxiCorp is a leading FX/CFD broker regulated in Australia, UK and the UAE. I am responsible for setting and executing Axi's global payment strategy. The payment strategy allows Axi to compete in markets where we otherwise were unable to do so. The philosophy of think globally, act locally provides Axi’s customers with familiar, localised payment channels and removes unnecessary barriers to deposit. The role also covers sourcing new regional payment channels, counterparty onboarding, guiding the integration & UX developers and collaborating with marketing to promote new payment channels. The role has an relationship management focus and manages the groups global network of Banks, Card Acquirers, Alternate Payment Methods (APM) and Payment Service Providers (PSP) and fraud detection partners.Key achievements- Deployed 25 new payment channels allowing the business to strengthen its foothold in key new markets. - Reduced bank and processing fees by a margin of 40% through the introduction of new payment methods, development of intelligent payment routing, renegotiation of agreements and analysis action of clients abusing AxiCorp’s funding channels.

The Head of Operations role based out of Dubai, UAE oversaw the responsibility of 5 key functions ;- Middle Office- Settlements- Payments- Onboarding- Institutional Fx OperationsThe teams operated remotely 24/5 located in Sydney, Singapore, Dubai, Cyprus & London. The Operations team performed the heavy lifting where technology and processes were lacking. The key focus was on automating processes to reduce human error and increase efficiencies and customer satisfaction. Key achievements- Launch operations in Dubai Office 2017- Launch operations in Cyprus Office 2018- Supported the business through periods of high growth, record transactions and applications and developed inhouse strategies which reduced fraud levels by 85%.- Board approval for the development of the Central Admin project aimed at automating the management of AxiCorp extensive number of trading servers.

The role has direct responsibility for;- Middle Office - Settlements - Institutional Fx OperationsThe role managed three highly skilled teams operating 20/5 in Sydney & London. The teams oversaw the trade and position reconciliation across all trading servers and Prime Brokers, processing of all deposit and withdrawal for AxiCorp Payment Providers and the ownership of the MetaTrader 4 Admin & Trading Platforms and TwoFour Institutional Back Office.Key achievements- Building out the Middle Office function in London- Driving collaborations between the trading teams and Middle office to reduce errors and costs to the business in the realm of $A 500,000

Trade Support - My role was to support the CBA Equities Prop Trading Desk, Securities Lending Desk & CommSec Institutional Trading desk. The role included trade, holding and cash reconciliation across Equities, Options, Futures & CFDs. Other duties included corporate actions and DVP settlement across all desks.IPOs & Placements - When CBA participated in an IPO/Placement my role was to lead a periodic IPO settlement team. This included training staff across all aspects on IPO settlement, cash and stock reconciliation and settlement of the IPO. Key Achievements- 2013 CommSec Prosperity Award winner- Co-led a project team to design the IPO Bid management system.

My role supported the Structured Products, CBA Equities, CBA Securities Lending and ASX CFD desks. The role covered all structured product life cycle events from cash and stock settlement, loan termination, dividend distributions and loan revaluations. Trade and holding reconciliations of equities, futures and CFDs for the CBA Equities desk, DVP and cash settlement for the CBA Securities Lending desk and trade and holding reconciliation of the ASX CFD desk. The role also covered the settlement of CBA participated IPO/Placements.Key Achievements- Settlement SME for the 4sight Securities Lending project - Successfully unwound the IYH & IYG CBA Warrant series with no impact to clients or CBA.- Successfully settled PERL IV IPO- Oversaw the CBA Equities core cash settlement function migrate from CommSec to the Derivatives & Structured products team.
