I recently worked for Hogan Lovells, a global law firm with some of the world’s largest corporations as clients. I began my tenure there just as the firm was beginning to roll-out their new brand. The new brand wanted to create a sense of the firm thinking “outside the box”, and used boxes and squares as design elements. It also concentrated on using white space, clean typography, infographics that utilized icons, and imagery that told a story without being too obvious. I helped develop and evolve the new brand by designing and establishing guidelines for brochures, sponsorship ads, email blasts, client pitches, presentations, and various other marketing materials. Beyond those designing duties, I also was responsible for educating other members of the marketing team on the new brand and helping them get on board. As other designers joined the team, I also helped guide them on the brand, and made sure their work met the firm’s high standards.

At this global law firm, I served as lead designer on a wide variety of projects that included corporate branding, web design, motion graphics, brochures, infographics, invitations, event displays, presentations, interactive emails, and much more. I assisted in the rollout and design of the firm’s re-brand. I created integrated design campaigns with digital/new media elements and traditional print materials. I designed collateral for firm events. I trained and led junior designers, and worked with other departments in order to best execute projects.

For this client, I was the point person for their rebrand, and complete redesign of all their marketing materials. Among the new designs I developed for them included infographics, brochures, mailers, one-pagers, and event materials and booths. I also developed the brands for their subsidiary companies.
