As the Medical Countermeasure and Cities Readiness Initiative Coordinator, I prepare for, and participate in, federal/state Public Health’s Operational Readiness Review (ORR) process. I demonstrate efficiency by working to document and demonstrate compliance by identifying gaps and recommending improvements with best practices and national trends. Through this work I’m able to build valued relationships with community partners and stakeholders throughout the region. My work with pharmacies, hospital/healthcare partners, first responders, public and private business, and government officials allows me to implement strategies to distribute and dispense medications and other supplies to enhance operational readiness and assist with planning/coordination and preparedness across the county.
