Responsible for identifying, recruiting, and contracting facilities, hospitals, physicians, and other provider medical groups to enhance and develop provider networks for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. Develop and manage provider networks for incumbent federal correctional facilities, as well as being involved in new business opportunites through the Request for Proposal process with the FBOB. Help direct contract intitiatives throughout the organization while developing and maintaining relationships with existing and new hospital and provider networks across the country.

I worked as an extern for IU Health's Legal Department during my fall semester of my last year of law school. My responsibilities included drafting documents and conducting research concerning a number of regulatory and compliance issues such as HIPPA, Stark Law, Medicaid/Medicare coverage, highly infections disease protocol, and hospital billing guidelines.

Participated in mock trial program including witness preparation, direct and cross examinations, opening statements, and summations for a case involving contract disputes and fraud. Additionally, I participated in mock deposition program including presentations by senior partners, observing a live deposition, and deposing a mock witness concerning a trade secrets dispute.

Responsibilities included conducting legal research and drafting documents for Judge Welch such as orders for summary judgment, dismissal- relating to medical malpractice, personal injury, divorce, and insurance disputes. I also was required to sit in on Judge Welch's trials in which I observed all phases of civil litigation, including jury selection, jury trials, motion proceedings, and sentencing proceedings.

Responsibilities included drafting documents such as research memoranda, discovery documents, complaints, FOIA requests, and a writ of replevin relating to litigation involving banking, retail financial services, bankruptcy, collections, and compliance with the Service members’ Civil Relief Act.
