Lecturer in International Law and Deputy Director of the Sheffield Centre for International and European Law (SCIEL) at the University of Sheffield. My research primarily revolves around the peaceful settlement of international disputes and the use of sanctions, particularly within the international legal framework of state responsibility, jurisdiction, and state immunity. At the University of Sheffield, I convene modules on International Dispute Settlement, International Investment Law, and International Institutional Law. I hold an MJur and DPhil in Law from the University of Oxford. During my time at Oxford, I also taught international law at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels.
