Main focus is still heavy diesels but cases can involve exploring versatile areas such as internal processes, information flow or even chemistry. To work with professionals from more or less all functions of the company from sales, design and production to customer information and other aftermarket functions, is very rewarding.A personal side interest of mine is developing the use of additive manufacturing (AM) within the company. AM has proven to be a valuable tool in order to solve quality problems in the field and/or to speed up verification of solutions before introduction.

Mechanical and thermal design of mechanical enclosures for Telecom equipment.Typical tasks are design of indoor and outdoor enclosures for electrical equipment, taking both thermal and EMI aspects into consideration as well as producibility.All products are designed for high volumes and much of the challenge lies in finding good cost efficient and innovative solutions by using castings and sequence-die-tools. Also simpe ECAD design is required.The position contains lots of internal contacts with supply and sourcing and externally with both domestic and international suppliers.CAD/ECAD work is performed in Pro/Engineer for which I'm also appointed as a key user and local cad support. Naturally, I'm also well familiar with related Ericsson systems such as PRIM, Eliza, Mathilda and EB.
