Over the past three years, I have dedicated my time to volunteering as a coach at Abbeville High School, developing essential skills in scheduling, event management, and coaching. My experience includes running matches, creating practice schedules, and serving as an interim head coach, where I've had the opportunity to refine my leadership and problem-solving abilities in a high school setting.As a college golfer at Erskine College, I have supported my head coach in various roles, including recruitment, athlete transportation, and administrative tasks. I am excited to expand my responsibilities further as a volunteer assistant coach this fall and continue to pursue my passion for coaching after graduation.Additionally, I have gained valuable experience working for the Piedmont Junior Golf Association, coordinating junior golf tournaments, and assisting with summer camps. This work has allowed me to positively impact young golfers and contribute to the growth of the sport.My coursework in Sports Management and Business Administration at Erskine College has further solidified my passion for coaching, providing real-life insights and understanding of the sports industry's complexities.With a strong foundation in coaching, a commitment to athlete development, and a passion for the game of golf, I am determined to advance my career in college coaching and ultimately become a college golf coach.
