I am a full time employee at Southern Energy Management and a recent graduate of North Carolina State University with a Sustainable Materials and Technology degree, Business Administration minor and Renewable Energy Assessment minor. I worked as an undergraduate research assistant for the Department of Forest Biomaterials at NCSU, assisting research on the thermomechanical conversion of biomass into activated carbon and it's performance as an adsorbent material. I performed thermogravimetric analysis, Brunauer-Emmett-Teller surface area analysis, fast pyrolysis, acid washing, yield analysis and biomass feedstock preparation. I presented my findings at the Summer 2021 Undergraduate Research & Creativity Symposium. I worked as a field technician for Specialized Mobile Exhibits at Live Nation events where I operated permanent and mobile exhibits. I am the 2020-2021 recipient of the Wilson Family Endowed Scholarship, Southeastern Dry Kiln Club Scholarship, and the Alfred J. Stamm Scholarship. I have been named on the NSCU Dean's List for five semesters.I am passionate about sustainable business innovation, technologies and circular economies.
