Currently developing a cloud-based software solution for visual work instructions that interfaces with external tools/devices.Responsible for leading the development of technology solutions and platforms at VKS.Key responsibilities:- Manage a team of over 35 people split into different teams: Back End Developers, Front End Developers, Business Analysts, QA Specialists, Infrastructure, and Customer Support.- Establish product and technology vision and strategy.- Define the overall architecture of each product.- Establish and manage priorities, road maps and deadlines.- Determine milestone requirements and ensure the team is focused on collective objectives.- Organize and direct development efforts.- Review and balance the client needs against the company’s objectives.- Ensure implementation of business strategy by way of technology solutions.- Establish technology standards.- Establish technology testing and deployment processes.- Identify future technology architecture.- Oversee management of data, infrastructure and application architecture.- Oversee technological aspects of business transformation and improvement.- Establish technology gaps and direct R&D.- Ensure team development & coaching.

Created the front end of a white labeled Web app for booking accommodations and purchasing travel packages.

I've been busy over the last few years at creating a hot web application for creating and sharing visual instructions of all types: work instructions, maintenance guides, training manuals, etc. The application is currently being beta tested at a few manufacturing facilities in North America and Europe. The plan is to launch the software as a service in 2013.
