CurrentHead of High Yield Infrastructure Debt | Lead Portfolio Manager Global Infrastructure Debt (‘GID’)Daniel is the Head of High Yield Infrastructure Debt at BlackRock and the Lead Portfolio Manager for Private Debt’s Global High Yield Infrastructure Debt (GID) business.He is responsible for the development and execution of the high yield infrastructure debt strategy, including fundraising, portfolio management as well as the origination, structuring and underwriting of private infrastructure and energy transactions.Before joining BlackRock, Daniel was a senior director at Deutsche Bank’s Structured Finance platform in New York, London and Frankfurt where he was instrumental in establishing and building-out the lender’s American Infrastructure and Energy business from its inception in 2009.Over the course of his career, Daniel successfully closed a multitude of infrastructure and energy transactions across developed and emerging markets, covering sectors such as energy, power, renewables, social infrastructure, telecommunication or transportation.Daniel holds a PhD in Finance from University of Bonn (Germany) and HEC, Paris.
