E-Cube was a corporation created by Nagase Corp., a $5b Japanese trading company, to take over the assets of Supersymmetry Co., Ltd. one of the worlds most innovative energy efficiency/ESCO companies of the world. As COO is turned around a financially strapped operation, brought in new financing, redesigned the business model and marketing program. The company was eventually sold to Trane and become a business unit there.

Totally redeveloped product line, packaging, brochures, sales channels and distribution. Participated in active research to validate benefits of new products. Increased sales by more than 10 times.

Ecologic was the sole distributor of AquaOptima's RAS systems in Japan and received these rights from Hitachi Metals along with several key patents with me as the key inventor. Ecologic did market development for well known companies such as INVE and resulted in 1000% increase in sales over a period of 3 years. In addition Ecologic built the first RAS based tiger puffer production system for the publicly traded restaurant chain, Kanmonkai. Ecologic was also involved in technology, market and business development for AQ1 Systems in Japan. Also during this time Ecologic arranged for VC funding for US biotech company MedCell and raised over $4m USD for the company at a time of duress.

At JIFAS our main mission was to reduce antibiotic use in aquaculture, improve public perception of aquaculture products by internationalizing Japan's relatively closed aquaculture industry. We achieved all goals as stated in our mission statement. The NGO created what is now one of the world's largest seafood exhibitions, the Tokyo International Seafood Show. JIFAS was involved in Japanese aquaculture industry at all levels and was an integral part of the establishment of modern vaccine and aquafeed technologies for companies such as Nutreco, AKVA, Bayer, etc. Also JIFAS did its own R&D under my lead managed over 20 research projects some which have been instrumental in fundamentally impacting the Japanese aquaculture, food and seafoods sectors. JIFAS worked with government, academia and industry at the highest levels in order to achieve its goals.
