The Managed Security Services (MSS) team provide a broad portfolio of security solutions offering end-to-end operational management of market-leading technologies and security incident response services for large multinational clients.The MSS Operations Manager is responsible for the Operational Incident Management and Change Management functions as part of the overall service delivered by the MSS team to clients; ensuring the services delivered meet the client demands, support the overall MSS business plan and are cost effective, ensuring HP is meeting is contractual objectives.The MSS Operations Manager manages the delivery team and ensures that MSS is compliant with the Service Level Measures agreed with clients. The MSS Operations Manager works with the service delivery teams, peers and clients to ensure information and services delivered are operating smoothly, so that any queries and issues are dealt with effectively and promptly.Responsible for: - maintaining the interaction and relationships internally and externally to both IT Outsourced and direct MSS clients. - acting as the point of escalation for the client, owning queries or issues through to resolution. - Ownership of service delivery plans, contracts, SLAs and OLAs with clients and peers in relation to service delivery. - measuring and reporting on service metrics and client satisfaction and reporting information and trends monthly to the Global Director of MSS. - helping to drive service improvements by ensuring that any issues or concerns with the services supplied are clearly understood.

As BitCloud's Service Delivery Manager, I worked hand-in-hand with our Sales and Technical teams to deliver high quality Australian based cloud solutions to business of all shapes and sizes.I engaged daily with clients and internal teams from pre-sales through implementation, on to BAU, and working to improve how we do it - every time we do it.I was directly responsible for managing a team of 8 system administrators (networking, linux, vmware, storage, windows, ...), as well as indirectly managing the general support team (10 staff) via the Support Manager.Responsibilities included: - technical pre-sales advice - customer facing as well as behind the scenes - management of technical responsibilities - task allocation, rostering, ... - mentoring of technical staff to ensure high quality customer interactions - proposal and contract draft and review processes - invoice and accounts payable - continuous improvement of internal systems and processes, working toward an ITIL framework - working with senior management (CEO, COO, Sales & Marketing) to identify and implement strategic aims of the overall company.

Successfully grew the Hosted Services business within Pronto Software from startup phase to over 120 clients. Responsibilities ranged from technical hands-on, team management, financial and commercial, and sales.

Currently managing a team of 7 techs providing Hosted & Managed Services across 2 locations. We're running Linux, AIX, Windows servers in dedicated and virtualised environments. Pronto Xi is our focus, with the Cognos Reporting Portal. We've got 130+ customers, with strong growth year on year. We also run a handful of peripheral applications like Exchange, RDP, Print & Fax servers, ...In this role I'm negotiating with vendors and suppliers, performing account management, assisting direct sales teams with pre-sales activities, and keeping an eye on the financials as well as managing team workloads and responsibilities.
