As a driven and analytical professional with a strong foundation in economics and mathematics, I have cultivated a deep expertise through rigorous academic training and diverse hands-on experiences. I hold a Bachelor's and Master's degree in Economics from East Carolina University and am currently advancing my quantitative skills by pursuing a Master’s in Mathematics.During my graduate studies, I had the privilege of working as a Graduate Assistant and Graduate Teaching Assistant at ECU. I collaborated with esteemed professors such as Dr. Millea, Dr. He, and Dr. Kung, providing crucial support through grading, managing course materials, and contributing to research initiatives. My role as a GTA further allowed me to tutor undergraduate students and assist in teaching intermediate algebra, enhancing my ability to convey complex concepts clearly and effectively.My academic journey has also equipped me with valuable technical skills, including proficiency in programming languages like R, SAS, and Python. These tools have been instrumental in conducting independent research, particularly in mapping seasonal home price dynamics and analyzing regional variations in North Carolina.In addition to my academic and teaching experience, I gained practical political experience through a fellowship with the Don Davis for NC campaign, under the Progressive Turnout Project. This role honed my skills in voter engagement, community outreach, and political networking across eastern North Carolina. I successfully organized canvassing events, coordinated with local Democratic Parties, and connected with rural communities to emphasize the importance of voting.I am passionate about leveraging my expertise in economics, mathematics, and data analysis to drive impactful research and contribute to meaningful projects.
