Managed Property & Casualty Program and held responsibility for annual budget for all non-production corporate real estate including six domestic locations and two domestic labs. ► Negotiated risk transfer portfolio with brokers, carriers, and the group Captive Insurance Company to maintain robust coverage while remaining within budget for past three years. ► Partnered with Internal Audit to create first Enterprise Risk Management program illustrating top enterprise risks and worked with functional leaders to develop plans for mitigation. ► Redesigned incident report system and centralized management of claims resulting in decreased claims reporting lag time, improved TPA efficiency, and consistency in claims and settlements. ► Performed due diligence and synergy review for merger that formed Covia resulted in multi-million dollar cost reductions. ► Transitioned property coverage to direct relationship with new carrier for multi-billion dollars in exposures with increased coverage and consolidated lines resulting in initial cost savings and significant reduction in premiums due to collections.► Consolidated administrative locations for substantial cost savings. ► Designed and executed a program to inspect 40+ locations to identify risk improvement opportunities. ► Served as Chairman of the Covia Investment committee. Covia is a $2.3 billion leading provider of minerals and materials solutions for the Industrial and Energy markets. Sibelco, a privately-owned Belgium based company, acquired Fairmount Santrol on June 1, 2018 and merged it together with its wholly owned subsidiary, Unimin Corporation and became a new public company, Covia Holdings Corporation.
