Everyone has a story to share. I’ve worked my entire professional career helping other people tell theirs.I’ve spent well over twenty-five years working in government, politics, and public affairs. I’m able to take a complex situation or challenge and simplify it into a relatable and relevant message for varying audiences. Along the way, I’ve racked up my fair share of crisis communications experience.I began my communications career as an intern for then Chief Presidential Speechwriter Tony Snow in the Honorable George H.W. Bush’s White House, furthered my craft working in PR for a popular Northeast city mayor and future U.S. cabinet secretary, and later honed my skills working for a decade for a well-liked workhorse Member of Congress and “Cardinal” on the House Appropriations Committee as his Communications and Political Director and eventually Chief of Staff and Legislative Director.Since leaving government service, I’ve been a contract lobbyist on the Hill, fought for child health by helping to run federal policy initiatives for America’s pediatricians, and advanced the public affairs interests and job creation efforts of the world’s largest car companies.I am still likely to help a friend or two running for political office each year and always welcome the opportunity to help worthy causes gain exposure and promote their calls to action.I’m always interested in meeting new people and expanding my base of knowledge. I look forward to hearing from you.
