• Currently leading the modeling & simulation, fuel manufacturing, and irradiation experiment design efforts for BWXT's Advanced Reactor Demonstration Program (ARDP) award from the U.S Department of Energy (DOE), in support of qualifying an advanced nuclear fuel form for commercial use.• Developed a novel, patent-pending, method to additively manufacture crack-free, pure molybdenum (Mo) components using electron beam additive manufacturing (EBAM).

Conducted research on the recycleability of metal powders used in the selective laser melting (SLM) additive manufacturing (AM) process. My research identified factors that affect the morphology, metalography, and rheology (flow properties) of metal powder feedstock as it is cycled through the AM process. I quantitatively described the effects that these factors have on the AM process itself as well as the solid parts that were produced.
