My 25 year metals career has been spent working for Viking Materials Inc. Viking is a steel service center and subsidiary of Reliance Inc. focused primarily on the flat roll market. I started in our Claims/Purchasing department which gave me the opportunity to get to know many of our suppliers, and gain a basic understanding of the products we specialize in. From there I crossed into the sales department moving from the inside (2 years), to outside (10 years), to Sales Manager (8), to Executive Vice President (4) to my current position of President and COO.
